The PodHouse
The PodHouse is a production facility in the Northwold suburb of Johannesburg. Established in 2021, it’s designed to be a space where content creators can bring ideas to life and see them soar. The operation is run by media professionals with more than 30 years combined experience in various disciplines of media. We are ready and geared to host high quality audio podcasts.
We can edit and treat your audio or provide you with the raw audio to treat off-site.

A good podcast must have pristine sound. We can achieve this using broadcast quality gear. We have several sound interfaces which we can use depending on the task at hand. Among them, the Universal Audio Apollo Twin-x, a Rodecaster Pro II, Audient EVO, and a MixPre 3 from Sound Devices. In non-technical terms, this equipment allows us to record your audio to sound world class. Coupled with our collection of microphones, including Shure’s legendary SM7B’s, you can easily host a discussion with up to 8 participants.

World Class Standards
Our voiceover booth, ideal for show intros and inserts or plain voice over recording is equipped with a Neumann TLM-103 and a Sennheiser-416. Our studio is also SourceConnect enabled meaning you can connect with studios and guests anywhere in the world if they are also SourceConnect-ready. To ensure seamless connection, we have a dedicated 50 mb/ second high speed fibre internet link at our premises.
